There are two ways to set up a custom handicapping file.
The first way is to set it up manually using Notepad. You would create a text file with the following data in it.
11.521
22.581
49.462
10.599
3.687
2.765
0
13.636
25.568
37.027
8.712
0
7.765
9.901
These are in order:
<= 599 Yard races: Speed, Break, Close, Class, Trouble, Kennel, Style
>= 600 Yard races: Speed, Break, Close, Class, Trouble, Kennel, Style
So, the 22.581 for example is the weight for <=599 Yard races for the Break factor.
Then save this file in your C:\Program Files\Greyhound Master\Settings folder as XXC.gmw where XX is the two letter code for the track and C is the class/grade of the race. For example, you could save this as DLB.gmw and these particular handicapping weights would load for a Derby Lane Class B race.
The second way is to use the GM program. In the main form, select from the menu "Handicapping -- > Set Weights." Then setup your weights on that form. Then select File --> Save Weight File and name the file as above (XXC.gmw).
Hope that helps,
Scott
Good handicapping!
